Your Opportunity

 

This is your next great opportunity. As a Civil Engineer in the Madison office, you'll work with a fast growing team of engineers and other specialists who focus on the municipal, transportation, and water resources projects. During the beginning phases of a project, you'll listen intently to the project managers to help in designing fit-for purpose solutions. Through our flexible management approach, you'll be empowered to carve your own path to professional growth through innovation and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work on a variety of project assignments for public and private clientele. Will be hands-on in helping develop project estimates, scope and design, and will stay involved in projects from start to finish. This role will also include regular interaction with with other design engineers, clients and regulatory agencies, and requires a strong work ethic consistent with our culture. Our approach to our work encourages individual contribution and team work toward the common goal of delivering successful work to our clients.

Qualifications

In addition to the previously described duties, preference would be given to a candidate who possesses the following: 

  • BS degree in Civil or Construction Engineering
  • EI designation required
  • Prior internships or full time experience with civil engineering consulting services
  • Prior design experience in general civil, municipal, transportation or environmental projects preferred
  • Structural design experience in relation to tanks and walls a plus
  • Ability to work on multiple projects
  • The high-profile of services provided in this position necessitate the incumbent reside or relocate to the immediate Madison, Wisconsin area.
