Your Opportunity 

We're seeking a transportation engineer to lead municipal client projects in the Fort Dodge, Iowa region. This is an outstanding opportunity for a transportation engineer to work in a growing market area with wonderful clients. We are looking to hire the right professional to help us maintain the momentum in this growing business unit in the northern portion of Iowa.

 

In this role, you'll contribute directly to project success through actively developing plans from conceptualization through construction. Responsibilities

  • Lead municipal client projects from design through construction
  • Develop and maintain excellent client and related stakeholder relationships to build trust in Snyder & Associates' services.
  • Coordinate and manage a staff of two interns/coops and collaborate with senior staff regarding construction workload

Qualifications

 

    • Transportation Engineer: PE required 
    • Experience in municipal, transportation and general civil engineering projects
    • Committed approach to successful client service, goal achievement on time and on budget
    • Strong understanding of SUDAS and Iowa DOT Design Standards and Specifications
    • Effective time management skills particularly in relationship to commitments on project designs and deliverables.
    • Strong interpersonal and team skills leading to positive, ongoing relationships with people.
    • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate technical subject matter to diverse audiences.
    • Willing to live locally to Fort Dodge, Iowa
